Pink Floyd-The Division Bell LP UK EMI 7243 82898412 with stamped matrix 8289841 A-2-1-2/8289841 B-2-1-1.
This is the only available original 1994 UK pressing of this album. (There were also limited vinyl issues from USA,Brazil etc).
This one is in great condition throughout. The original gatefold cover has a couple of very minor little spots/wear etc but is basically clean all over. The inner lyric card bag is pretty near as new.
The vinyl looks totally clean and the lack of spindle play on the labels points towards this being an unplayed copy.
These original UK pressings on vinyl from 1994 are so rare because they were pressed at that time as a token gesture, in relatively very small numbers. The bulk were done on CD.
Now with a resurgence in vinyl interest there is a big demand for a vinyl copy. This demand has seen a plethora of unofficial releases in black, blue, clear vinyl etc and in gatefold, non gatefold covers etc. People are being misled by clever wording that these are original 1994 pressings-infact they are all unofficial releases from the last few years. No problem if you want a vinyl copy for say £20.00 but if you are going to pay £40.00 upwards-often £50/60-then why not go for a real ORIGINAL official 1994 copy and pay a little more?
