Description

This is a first UK pressing of Pink Floyd's 'Wish you were here' with picture labels and still in its outer black shrinkwrap with sticker. The shrinkwrap is opened at the edge for removal of the record and has a further split across the front visible in the scan. The title sticker is unusually upside down, have never seen one like that before. There are also the remains of a price sticker to the front which could probably be removed with care. The white cover has never been removed from the shrink, graded MINT MINUS. The record itself, which has A-1,B-5 matri numbers in the run off grooves, is beautifully clean and glossy, just a few very light hairlines visible only under very bright light. It plays beautifully too, there is some very light background static occaisonally during the quieter moments but nothing that spoils the music, no loud pops, clicks, sticks,jumps or distortion. Has clearly been barely and very carefully played graded MINT MINUS.  The labels are beautifully clean and show very little sign of play, the white card lyric inner with rounded edges is fully intact and undamaged though has a few very light marks from handling. The postcard with serrated edges is in lovely undamaged condition.  A lovely complete copy of this UK Floyd first pressing, .  

 

I have been a collector for any years and a now selling most of my vinyl to fund a change of career. All records are thoroughly cleaned on my ClearAudio Smart Matrix machine and then carefully played on a Rega Planar 3 deck with Goldring cartridge. I use strict RC gradings with plus and minus to indicate variation and all records are sent out in professional mailers.
