Per Wikipedia, Wish You Were Here is the ninth studio album by Pink Floyd, released in September, 1975 through Columbia Records in the US, their first for the label. The lyrics express alienation and criticism of the music business. The bulk of the album is taken up by "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", a nine-part tribute to the Pink Floyd co-founder Syd Barrett, who had left seven years earlier due to his deteriorating mental health. The album was certified gold in the US in its year of release. By 2004, it had sold an estimated 13 million copies worldwide. It initially received mixed reviews; critics found its music uninspiring and inferior to Pink Floyd's previous work. It was later acclaimed as one of the greatest albums of all time.  The recording up for sale is a 1975 release and a first pressing by Columbia's Terre Haute pressing facility.  The recording consists of  5 tracks with a run time of 44+ minutes.
The cover is in VG+ condition with only mild disc wear on the front and back corners.  There are no split seams, bent corners, tears or markings on the covers.  The edges and corners show only very mild wear.  The covers still retain their gloss.
The cardboard inner sleeve is also in VG+ condition with photo artwork on both sides.  There are track listings with lyrics also on the inner sleeve.  Pink Floyd was also kind to include a post card that you may wish to send out to tell a freind "Wish You Were Here"!
The recording has been cleaned and tested using Audacity.  All tracks are free of skips.  There are three "clicks" on Side 2, track 3 about 2:19 into the song.  The remainder of the track and all other tracks are free of background noise.  The sound is very clear and clean and with the exception of these 3 clicks, this recording would rate EX.  The disc surfaces are free of any scratches or scuff visable to the eye or to the touch.  The surfaces retain their sheen and the labels are clean and intact.  I am the original owner of this recording and it has received good care.
