Up for auction is a rare blue vinyl pressing of Pink Floyd's 1975 LP "Wish You Were Here". This particular pressing is almost a tied dyed, with traces of white mixed with the blue color..lokk's very cool and would make a fine addition to any Floyd fans collection. I bought this record sometime in the late seventies and have always used extreme care when I played it. I actually bought the original black vinyl later on and left this thing on the shelf. It was never taken to parties or anything like that, like some of the crap you find here on Ebay. I just played the record after many years and was surprised at the quality! no big "pops" or "clicks" and definelty no "skips". Like I said, I always took care of this record. There is a minor tear on the left back edge of the cover as illustrated in the picture, besides that the cover is in great condition...no ring wear or bent corners as you see with many older LP's. This record was also stored in a plastic sleeve and the cover still has gloss. From what I have read on the net, this is the only official blue vinyl pressing of this LP. I guess there is a German pressing, but it is not official and has the title written on the cover. This record has no title on the cover or on the spine, which also is fully entact. Serious bidders only please! i have been selling off my collection here on Ebay for a few months now and this one will be hard to part with, but times are getting tough here in Michigan and I guess I will finally have to part with it.
