PIONEERS Love No Other Girl MILTON BOOTHE Ramblers CALTONE 119 Lynn Taitt SKA
The Pioneers (with The Ramblers), I Love No Other Girl b/w Milton Boothe (with Lynn Taitt's Band), Used To Be A Fool.
Original 1968 UK pressed Caltone Records 7" housed in plain sleeve, TONE 119.
Vinyl visually around VG minus. The surfaces still have a good gloss but display a fair few scuff marks and light scratches.
The A side plays G at the beginning and throughout the main body starts to pick up and imprive from VG to VG plus. The B side sound quality hovers between VG minus and VG., with background noise and scuffing evident. The B side plays moreorless the same.
Marker penned damage to labels, both sides pictured.
Note that this disc was somewhat grubby when I acquired it. It has been cleaned for play testing on a Knosti machine. Whilst this removed more obvious debris there is undoubtedly scope for further deep cleansing which can only result in improved sound quality.
