Here's a very scarce CANADIAN issue of this bouncy, spunky fun-fest from these lovable lasses from Hanover, Pennsylvania.
It's a sort-of sequel, for songwriters/producers JOHN MADARA and DAVID WHITE, to their earlier concept album for THE SHERRYS--the ultra-rare AT THE HOP WITH... (which we, coincidentally, also have for grabs in our current girl-group/Phil Spector auctions). Lots of songs about partying, Kool Aid style, in the squeaky-clean Space Age suburbia celebrated from start to finish in the deep grooves of this 50 year-old platter!

Condition:
JACKET: Plenty of gloss to colorful laminated front panel. Very faint rubwear to lamination on front panel. Word TEEN written in purple marker. Because of the lamination, it might be possible to remove this writing. Cover panel is otherwise quite nice. Spine intact, with all text legible. Corners retain points; both seams are intact and smooth.
Back panel reveals that this album was in the library of station CHEC, an Alberta-based radio station that began broadcast in 1959. Station call letters (with an apropos check-mark) scrawled in purple marker across back. "1963" written twice in black market to right side of panel. Some age discoloration to otherwise-clean back panel. Jacket, overall, merits a rating of VG+++.
VINYL: Canada's Mercury label held onto the 1950s black and silver label well into the '60s. Heavy, deep-groove vinyl has some light but visible scuffs, chiefly from the inner paper sleeve. Labels are clean and smooth. Vinyl, as evident from above, plays very nicely. This disc rates a solid EX.
