PJ Harvey Stories - UH HUH HER - Vinyl LP - Unofficial Release, date unknown.
Condition is Mint, played once.
I played this record on the following Hi Fi:
Sugden Masterclass Amplifier - £5000
Rega P7 Turntable -£1800
PMC OB1i Speakers £4500
I played this records and compared its sound quality against an official release of PJ Harvey Rid of me, one track only for comparison.
There is not a great deal of difference in sound quality and UH HUH HER sounded great to me.
Now, I purchased this for a single reason.
I missed the opportunity to buy the official release album even though I went to see PJ on the Uh Huh tour in Belfast.
I really did not see the point in shelling out upwards of £100 just for a Vinyl record.
The point I am making is this.
If you want to turn your nose up at this LP for reasons of being a collector/I must have the official release, go ahead and buy one from Discogs for upwards of £138 to £355 if you have really lost your marbles!
Or do what a rational human being would do.
Buy this, have it in your collection, listen to it, whatever you want. This album will be re-released eventually without a doubt and then pay £20 for it.
