Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: PJ Harvey - White Chalk - RARE Original Vinyl LP album 2006.
Plays at 45 RPM
There is quite a bit of audible crackle on this one. Still plays fine though.
Vinyl Condition: G (There are a lot of light marks and light scratches caused by the hard card inner sleeve which is notoriously unkind to this album. I have of course put the record in a new polylined inner. There is a fair bit of crackle throughout this record and some clicks and pops. I have cleaned it and given it several plays. The crackle has improved but there still is a fair bit and it can be heard becuase it is a quiet album. This may put off fussy listeners but it is still collectable and can be enjoyed. There are no sticks or jumps).
Inner sleeve Condition: VG/EX
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG/EX (Really nice overall condition).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
