John Paul Jones was recruited to arrange for P.J. PROBY on this album recording, and it was at this moment that he had joined with Jimmy Page on his new post Yardbirds band. Firstly they were named 'The New Yardbirds' with Chris Dreja on bass, but his disenchantment with touring saw him drop out.
This first studio collaboration had the Led Zeppelin backing the charismatic and dramatic American showman. Robert Plant played harmonica, John Bonham drums, Jimmy Page guitar and John Paul Jones bass, organ and piano as well as arrangements.
It's the very FIRST appearance of LED ZEPPELIN on record!
