'THREE WEEK HERO'
on the Original LIBERTY RECORDS LBS 83219 from 1969
This is a rare collectible, especially in this condition, and on this ORIGINAL ISSUE lable!
What this represents, is the fledgling LED ZEPPELIN not long after their inception as 'The New Yardbirds'. John Paul Jones was always in demand as a great producer around this time, and what better for this classic 60's artist than to get in his own band to play on his recording!
Apart from a couple of other additional guys (not least Clam Cattini), it's JP Jones, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant on harp, and John Bonham. This is now a LEGENDARY album in the history of Led Zep, and by the time of this issue - PJ Proby was long out off the mass record-buying public's radar.... making this a somewhat rare record that wouldn't have sold so many copies at all!
A cleaner copy will be tough to find too - best not to miss this opportunity if you'll take my advice.
The vinyl is clean NM/EX and with full shine.
There are two short thin scuff lines visible on the opening track, but light and NOT into the grooves - so these cannot affect play and I can guarantee it. The disc plays superbly, as 43 years ago, and a really delightful full sound without problems of any kind. TOP quality!!
The fully laminated single-sleeve cover is also EX, and has a small 'STEREO' sticker next to the catalogue number.
The lables are clean with spindle marks only
