PLAINSONG WERE a critically lauded band featuring ex Liverpool Scene's Andy Roberts and former Fairport Convention member Ian Matthews. The results were a sensational blend of British folk with west coast country rock. A genuinely fabulous album with everything in just the right place. One of my favourite records actually.
Pressing: Elektra, UK, 1973 - Butterfly label
Vinyl: Clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks on labels and no other signs of use. Grades as top MINT-!
Cover: Virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifuuly designed gatefold cover. Hard to find in decent condition as the cover is not only burn't occur in colour but also of fragile paper stock. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Superb stiff and straight uncrushed spine. Tiny price and identity sticker top right - both easily removeable. Impossible to find like this 41 years after release. Grades as top MINT-!
