Ex-Zeppelin strut Robert Plant has reunited with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss after some fourteen years. 'Raise The Roof' follows up 2007's smash album 'Raising Sand', and is a modern take on that former album's lonesome, earthy blues rock sound. Working with producer T Bone Burnett, drummer Jay Bellerose, and a slew of guitarists including Russ Pahl and Marc Ribot, this LP contains 12 new covers originally written by country legends including The Everly Brothers, Bert Jansch, Allen Toussaint, and Lucinda Williams. Expect modern, HD renditions of each song, with Krauss and Plant's singing voices doubled up in blissful octaves.
