Original 1970 UK Apple PCS 7124 LP with Laminated Sleeve , Complete with Info Liner Sleeve

This fantastic 1U / 1U Matrix album is just one of a lovely collection of Beatle items I have purchased from an ex label licensing employee at EMI Records , Manchester Square , London W1

Copies of EMI records were available to employees working on current releases , with stickers attatched to sleeves or labels stating 'Factory Sample' or 'Manufacturers Property'

The disc has no signs of use , with no marks or wear evident .......... There is no label wear , with only a minimal trace of spindle use : MINT minus condition.

The laminated sleeve is remarkably bright , flat and crisp ...... with barely any signs of use : MINT minus condition.

The Liner Sleeve has light use , with some light ageing ........ No splits ..... minor wrinkles : Near EXCELLENT condition.

PLASTIC ONO BAND was as stripped-down and raw as Lennon could make it. With only bass and drums accompanying Lennon's guitar or piano, the record conveyed a tension that Lennon's vocals only enhanced. Influenced by primal scream therapy, he pushed his vocal cords to the limit on "Well Well Well" and fade-out of "Mother." His work was startlingly personal; whether he was saying goodbye to the Beatles ("God's Song") or to his mother ("My Mummy's Dead"), his lyrics were inseperable from his life. His songs were often bitter, as he struggled to create an identity seperate from the Beatles he lashed out at a variety of targets (among them, his audience, in "Working Class Hero").

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
