PLAY DEAD - POISON TAKES A HOLD / INTRODUCTION FRESH RECORDS - FRESH 29 - UK 1981 7" IN ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE AND WITH PROMOTIONAL 4-PAGE NEWSLETTER FROM 'BEER DAVIES' PROMOTION (FOR RELEASES ON CHERRY RED, ARMAGEDDON, FRESH RECORDS, & INITIAL RECORDING COMPANY Rare original 1981 debut 7" single by the great post-punk goth band complete with the picture sleeve and an original 4-page newsletter from 'Beer Davies' promoting releases on FRESH Records (Family Fodder, UK Decay, Paul Inder, The Dark and also 'watch out for September dates too from POISON TAKES A HOLD which I guess it meant to be PLAY DEAD!), CHERRY RED (Marc Bolan, 5 or 6, Ben Watt, Kevin Harrison, Thomas Leer, Eyeless in Gaza, Felt, Perspectives and Distortion LP etc), ARMAGEDDON (Swimming Pool Q's, Robyn Hitchcock, Soft Boys etc), INITIAL RECORDINGS COMPANY (Tired Of Living?, Flesh Eaters etc) and also independent releases like Bristol Recorder compilation LP. A great punk and new wave collectable, complete and in very nice condition CONDITION (I don't use higher than ex/ex) cover: ex vinyl: ex press release: vg+ (a small tear) P&P Registered (with insurance) through ELTA (Hellenic National Post) GBP12.50 in Europe / GBP14.50 for all other countries except USA* / GBP6.50 to Greece * For USA only it will be through Courier Service GBP55.00 - ELTA services from Greece to USA is temporarily stopped due to the new Tariffs and until the terms are cleared so at the time shipping to USA is possible only through Courier service which is very expensive * I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied * I combine shipping, please wait for my combined invoice before payment, thanks.
