Here for sale is the 'The Only Ones' self titled album with insert. A fantastic album, my favourite of theirs and I was amazed at the recording quality and pressing quality when I played this for grading purposes.

It is a first pressing, record matrix CBS S 82830 A1 and B1.

Track listing as per rear cover (see 2nd photo).

My gradings for this album (as per The Record Collectors' Grading System - see end of listing for details) are :-

Insert - EX

Side 1 plays excellently with just a short, low level crackle in  between tracks 1 and 2 and at the start of track 5.

Side 2 also plays excellently with just 2 crackles right at the end of the last track.

Cosmetically, the vinyl and labels are excellent.

The LP cover has some wear on the spine and the edges and light vinyl ringmarks on the front and back covers from the rim of the record pressing against the cover. There is also a crease on the right bottom corner.

The insert is in excellent condition.

This album is one of my collection of 500+ Vinyl  LP Records, which I am selling as I have hardly played vinyl for some years, since purchasing  a better digital playback system.

Every record that I sell will have been cleaned on a Moth Mk. 2 record cleaning machine, using 'The One' cleaning fluid, which is then vacuumed off by the machine (they often don't look as though they need a clean but sometimes there are impurities left behind in the pressing process, so I feel it's always worth doing).

I will have listened to each record, prior to listing it, and will grade it according to The Record Collectors Grading System.

I will also do my best to give an accurate and honest description of it's condition. Hopefully, this will lead to very few or no disappointments for the buyer and myself.

Records will be despatched with the vinyl in an archival quality anti-static, anti-dust/dirt, anti-scratch inner sleeve,  the album cover inside a polythene outer sleeve, all inside a double walled cardboard mailer.

Record Collectors Grading System

 Mint (M) 

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
