We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. THICK 1971 gatefold, all black and contains the infamous withdrawn "thumb/penis" gatefold. This first issue artwork, as such, was pulled out of stores pretty quickly after release due to store complaints. The cover was re-done and rectified to be all-safe when the THUMB was removed from protruding out of ALICE's crotch area.

THIS IS the rare, thick gatefold from 1971 featuring the Alice Cooper 'thumb/penis' front cover that was quickly pulled from the retail market when sales of the classic album quickly soared into mass popularity and was on display at all the big retail outlets in the country!

Alice Cooper's 1971 recorded third album, Love It to Death, can be pinpointed as the release when everything began to come together for the band. Their first couple of albums (Pretties for You and Easy Action) were both largely psychedelic/acid rock affairs and bore little comparison to the band's eventual rip-roaring, teenage-anthem direction. The main reason for the quintet's change was that the eventually legendary producer Bob Ezrin was on board for the first time and helped the Coopers focus their songwriting and sound, while they also perfected their trashy, violent, and theatrical stage show and image. One of the band's most instantly identifiable anthems, "I'm Eighteen," was what made the album a hit, as well as another classic, "Is It My Body." But like Alice Cooper's other albums from the early '70s, it was an incredibly consistent listen from beginning to end. The garage rocker "Caught in a Dream" as well as the ass-kicking "Long Way to Go" and a pair of epics, the Doors-esque, trippy "Black Juju" and the ominous - eerie "Ballad of Dwight Fry" showed that Alice was easily in league with other high-energy Detroit bands of the era (MC5, Stooges).

- The cover: rated: the notorious wear-prone black GATEFOLD front cover is VG(+) light ring wear per normal (not showing so much in photo due to camera detail , but there.) However very solid rigid & stiff all over. The insides of gatefold is near M- and the back group cover (white) is EXcellent. There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ...
- The vinyl: Rated: near M- very clean, expect to play VERY enjoyable! Then both olive green Warners labels are CLEAN. both labels are clean
