Description
I have for sale one copy of The Beatles' Please, Please Me. This is the MONO 4th pressing Vinyl from 1963, released by Parlaphone, PMC 1202.
The Matrix Numbers are;
Side One matrix: XEX 421-IN
Side Two matrix: XEX 422-IN
In the run-out groove Side one has a "GRO" on one side and a "6" and "1" opposite (as best as I can make out!). Side 2 has GRH and 4 5 opposite it.
The vinyl is in very good condition with only one light scratch on Side 1 over the last two tracks. Side two has two light scratches crossing most of the tracks. None of the scratches affect play in the slightest and the record plays beautifully with no jumps or clicks!
The label has Yellow on Black lettering and, importantly, has the "Dick James Mus. Co." credits on the songs "Ask Me Why" and "Please, Please Me".
The inner sleeve is plain white and has the Emitex cleaning advert on it, it is in excellent condition, with only slight discolouration due to age.
The main sleeve is in VERY good condition with no markings and only a couple of small creases around the edge. It is an Ernest J. Day sleeve. It has "yellowed" slightly with age, please examine the photos for evidence of this. Only the bottom right corner has suffered from slight scuffing. The back is clean but slightly "off white" due to age with only a few small blemishes around the edges. The lettering on the spine is clear and present.
Everything I have described should be plain to see in the photos below.
This is a very collectable item and the opening Bid will reflect this.
