Artist: pma jazz ensemble
Title: college jazz series

Pressing: USA, ~1971, first press

Disc Condition: VG++ (only a couple barely visible hairlines on either side, disc looks like it was played a couple of times, lays flat on turntable)

Cover Condition: VG (some ringwear, seam wear and shelf wear, no splits, price written on front in marker, name written on back top, light foxing)

Notes: under the radar private jazzy funk featuring a young Stanley Clarke (credited as "Stan Clarke") and Gerry Brown. Directed by Evan Solot.  Side A is somewhat spiritual and includes the great track "Bacchanalia," side B is a funky version of the Abbey Road suite with a lot of great bass work from Clarke.  Recorded in 1971 and presumably released around that time.  Possibly Stanley Clarke's first recording?  Copy has not turned up for sale in a long time, so this might be your last chance for awhile to snag one.
