Parlophone PMC 7027.
The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
I believe this to be a first pressing because:-
Matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1 It has the red and white inner sleeve Text on the label has "The Gramophone Co.Ltd" and "Sold in UK"
The record has 2 noticeable scratches (one on each side) and numerous light surface marks. I have played the record and enjoyed listening to it closely. There was surface noise and on 2 occasions (during "With a Little Help" and "A Day in the Life"),the record got stuck. There was no popping or loud clicks. The 2 scratches passed without causing trouble. An attempt has been made to clean the record but it is not a "professional" clean. The gatefold sleeve is a little bruised but there is no real damage. The inner sleeve is in reasonable condition. There are also two inserts. In one, George's head has almost been removed! Please see photos.
