Up for grabs an original THE POGUES & THE DUBLINERS "The Irish Rover" 12" vinyl three-track EP album, 1987 release on Stiff (Buy it 258) black label, flipside The Rare Ould Mountain Dew/The Dubliners Fancy (instr.), matte thin cardboard cover, antistatic VRP inner, made in England, condition cover: Mint, vinyl/labels: pristine Mint (actual pics shown, zoom over).
Pub-punk classic the one track better than the other, the Dubliner's Fancy instrumental lifts the listener out of his seat to dance. Taken from an RTE broadcast of the Dubliners with the Pogues surprise guested for a frenzied version of the Rover with impromptu lyrics, Ronnie Drew passes it to Shane McGowan he scrum-halfs back, they shine. Acoustic and electric instruments intertwined vinyl proper only, first press, rare in such condition.
