Rare original first German pressing from 1978, issued on the CBS label (catalogue number AMS 6603). This is the harder to find PROMO issue with the CBS-BLITZINFO sleeve on the back and the blue ‘Telephone‘ cover on the front (see second scan). As you know, UK pressings were only released in red ‘Telelphone’ covers. ‘Unverkäufliche Musterplatte’ is printed on both label sides which stands for PROMOTIONAL COPY – NOT FOR SALE. The starter ‘Roxanne’ includes fantastic lyrics. The powerful ‘Peanuts’ can be heard on the flip. There is a stamp rubber-stamped on the sleeve (see scan) otherwise the condition is:

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).

 

Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal.
