There are certain things in life we can rely on, and one of these is that Robert Pollard - the relentlessly unglamorous yet unnaturally gifted figure who can hammer out three of four Who-style powerpop humdingers before most of us have even had breakfast - will have another album out before we've even got used to the last one.
