White label promo/demo copy with “lines” label and black text. Catalog number is Motown 1002.
Year: 1960
Condition: “Shimmy Gully” play-grades VG+ to VG++ with 100% of original gloss. Visual grade is somewhat lesser, due to a couple nasty looking scuffs that fortunately are not feelable and do not cause any distraction. There is also a minor bubble, and the record has a minor warp neither of which affect the playing. Despite these flaws, this is an excellent sounding record as you can hear in the accompanying sound clip.
First time I have come across this one in 30 years of collecting.
The b-side, “Custer’s Last Man” appears unplayed and would grade NM if not for the warp.
Labels are clean and pristine.
