Tonefloat TF40 - 2007 - Holland

This limited edition box set of Porcupine Tree's Fear of a Blank Planet was released in 2007 on the Dutch Tonefloat label on blue marbled vinyl in just 1000 copies. The set includes a large booklet, a poster, a postcard and a label catalogue, and the gatefold cover is contained in a slipcase.

COVER - The slipcase and cover are in VG+ condition due to a bump in the top corner, the creases are visible in the pictures below. The gatefold cover has the top seam split, the titles on the left seam are fully readable.
Unfortunately these defects seem to be common to many copies of the box set due to the weight of the set.

INNER - Original photographic inners in excellent condition but both have the bottom seam split, one of them has also a side seam split.

VINYL - Both shiny, the first vinyl plays EX to NM with very light surface noise only in quietest parts; the second has some small white dots on the C side, probably a pressing defect, which cause some clicks, and is valued VG+ for this reason (please play the audio sample below to hear an excerpt from the album, including these clicks).
Records playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

LABELS - Original picture labels in nice condition with no tears or writings.

MATRIX NUMBERS - Machine stamped on the vinyl, 68405 1A TF 40 (side 1) - 68405 1B TF 40 (side 2) - 68405 1C TF 40 (side 3) - 68405 1D TF 40 (side 4).

Edizione limitata del doppio album dei PORCUPINE TREE Fear of a Blank Planet, pubblicata dall'etichetta olandese Tonefloat in 1000 copie con vinile blu marmorizzato. Il cofanetto contiene il disco con copertina apribile e buste interne, un libretto, un poster, una cartolina e un catalogo dell'etichetta.

COPERTINA - Il cofanetto e la copertina apribile sono in condizioni VG+ a causa di un'ammaccatura nell'angolo in alto a destra. I lati superiori della copertina apribile sono tagliati; titoli laterali completamente leggibili.
Purtroppo i difetti sono comuni a molte copie, a causa del peso della confezione.

BUSTA INTERNA - Buste interne originali fotografiche in condizioni molto buone, entrambe hanno una spaccatura lungo il lato inferiore, una delle due ha lo stesso problema anche su un altro lato.

VINILE - Entrambi brillanti, il primo suona da EX a NM con minimo rumore di fondo nelle parti a basso volume, il secondo è valutato VG+ per la presenza sul lato C di alcuni puntini bianchi dovuti probabilmente ad un difetto di stampa che provocano alcuni clic (che potete ascoltare nell'estratto audio).
Dischi suonati con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5 gr.

ETICHETTE - Originali fotografiche, in ottime condizioni senza strappi o scritte.

NUMERI DI MATRICE - Stampati a macchina sul vinile, 68405 1A TF 40 (lato 1) - 68405 1B TF 40 (lato 2) - 68405 1C TF 40 (lato 3) - 68405 1D TF 40 (lato 4).
