Description
The record has just been cleaned using spincare and its done a decent job of lowering the surface noise, not completely gone and still there in-between songs but im very impressed. So this changes things as noise levels have reduced .The mailing card alone adds value just because it has that nostalgic and sentimental value. A piece of history .
This original 1994 UK press vinyl LP of Portishead's "Dummy"
This 12" vinyl grading is a Very Good VG. NOW A STRONG VG+ after a clean. It has a a number of visible hairlines and and I say hairlines (No deep scratches) and there is some surface noise present which doesn't affect the songs but it is present.. No jumping/skipping, record plays well. I'd say the record could do with being professionally cleaned. But even as it is, the sound quality is still very good and doesn't overwhelm the tracks. The Record sleeve again I'd grade as a VG. (See pictures) The inner sleeve and mailing card are EX
Honesty is a must and the condition and grading of this record is reflected in the price. Dont get me wrong.. there is still some surface noise but a massive improvement prior to clean.. i am very impressed with the spincare also. This is still a good quality record and at a fair price.
A must-have for any vinyl record fan of the Bristol Trip Hop legends Portishead and will surely be a great addition to any collection.
Please feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures showing the vinyl .
