Description

This is what's known in the industry as a REFERENCE TEST DISC. Usually, only ONE or TWO are pressed from the very first set of Stampers, and played in the pressing plant to check for any potential flaws BEFORE regular test pressings are done for the Parent Company, which in this case was Polygram/Mercury. This LP is Virtually Prestine, plays vividly clean, and contains the entire "ASYLUM" LP by KISS as it was eventually issued. If you want a truly mega-rare Kiss Vinyl LP Item, THIS IS IT! Trail-off Numbers are: 422-826-099-1-AS-ES and 422-826-099-1-BS-ES.

For clarification, this is NOT an "Acetate." Also, this does not have any special cover, it was merely a one-time use disc that has been in a cardboard jacket since it was made about 20 years ago. I purchased it from a former audio technician at the now defunct pressing plant.
