(S) SEALED - vinyl assumed mint, never open.
(M) MINT - vinyl absolutely perfect in every way, never played.
(NM) NEAR MINT - vinyl nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.
(VG++) VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS - in between VG+ but below NM, highly acceptable.
(VG+) VERY GOOD PLUS - vinyl may have light scuff marks and some signs of wear but will still play almost perfectly. cover may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
(VG) VERY GOOD - vinyl has some more scuffs than a VG+, may crackle, pop or make other noises, but only occasionally. cover has normal wear; such a ring wear and possible split seams but will always be noted.
(VG-) VERY GOOD MINUS - below VG but above G
( G ) GOOD - vinyl has scratches, may have continuous crackles, pops, significant surface noise. cover has more than normal wear and tear.
( P ) POOR - vinyl is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. cover barely keeps the lp inside.
NO RECORDS ARE PLAY GRADED...EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT QUALITY EQUIPMENT SO THIS DESIGNATION IS IRRELEVANT.
