Description
Lou Chiha "Frisco" was one of the first recording musicians to jump on the "Jass" bandwagon, with his FRISCO "JASS" BAND, as early as June, 1917. Their version of "POZZO ONE-STEP" is a VERY lively, pioneering side in "Hot" history. The band includes saxophone master RUDY WIEDOEFT, who is heard throughout.
"FRISCO" gets the whole flip side to himself, with a hot, late-ragtime Xylophone solo, "BUZZIN' THE BEE."
This original 1917 Edison Diamond Disc 50464 is in clean EE+ condition.
PHOTOS: Looks like two different pictures of Tom Edison, neither very encouraging, on flip sides of this record, for our perusal.

I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care.
