I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NICE COLLECTION OF UNIQUE PROMOS / TEST PRESSING AND ACETATE. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE, UNIQUE AND PROBABLY A ONE OFF, UK DOUBLE SIDED UNRELEASED DEMOS EMIDISC 7" by P.P. ARNOLD from 1969/1970, ORIGINAL UK ACETATE PRESSING IN GREAT CONDITON AND A MUST !!!
This is a NEVER HEARD BEFORE/ NEVER RELEASED DEMO VERSIONS of 2 GREAT NORTHERN SOUL TRACKS by P. P. ARNOLD, these versions are completely different, "A LIKELY PIECE OF WORK" has piano on it instead of the horn section on the finished version and I think sounds much rougher and better and is also a much shorter version clocking inat 1 minute 45 second, The great "MAY THE WINDS BLOW" is also completely diferent and once again has piano instead of horn section and is again much shorter clockin in at 1 minute 46 seconds, these were probably done in the studio in 1969 as demos for POLYDOR RECORDS and as far as I know has never been heard before !!!!

This collection came from a major UK radio person who worked in a major UK radio station from the late 60's to the late 90's all the copies were ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUES or PROMO COPIES !!! The 7" acetate was pressed at the EMIDISC STUDIOS. The tracks are: A LIKELY PIECE OF WORKS (SHORT DEMO VERSION WITH FULL BAND AND PIANO INSTEAD OF HORNS) / MAY THE WINDS BLOW (SHORT DEMO VERSION WITH FULL BAND AND PIANO INSTEAD OF HORNS).

The condition of the ACETATE is G+ / G (plays much betterat VG- with the obvious crackles andclicks you get on most acetates of that age).
