This listing is for an extremely rare factory sealed copy of the "Praise" LP.
This 1974 early Jesus Music album features Randy Rothwell, Craig Rothwell, Mike Rothwell, Susan Hogancamp, Jan Anderson, James Thomas & Dana Staley.
Album Review:
Pretty quiet Paducah, Kentucky folkrock co-ed 7-piece. The piano is more prominent than the guitars a lot of the time. Includes covers of songs by Chuck Girard ('Since I Opened Up The Door'), Kenn Gulliksen ('Charity'), Tommy Coomes ('Hidden Treasure'), and Phoenix Sonshine ('Shinin' In The Light'). Also a few original songs: the opening 'Jesus - The Son Of God', the Gamble Folk-ish 'The Garden' and the closing 'The Last Supper' (which bears resemblance to Phoenix Sonshine). Your basic nice Jesus music album. Member Randy Rothwell would later become a big name in praise/worship music. - Ken Scott - The Archivist
