Up for bid is a rare 78, " God Don't Never Change / Let Your Light Shine On Me," by Blind Willie Johnson. This was released by Columbia (Viva-Tonal Recording) (14490-D). 78 has no cracks or chips. Both sides have scuffs and light scratches. Both sides play with no skips, but with noticeable surface noise (crackle, hiss, and tics). 78 has a light lip warp that does not affect play. There is some sort of white residue on the "Let Your Light Shine On Me" side, but this does not affect play of 78. These Pre War Blues 78s are very hard to come by, in any condition. Finding an intact one that plays through with no skips is a true rarity! 78 comes in a plain paper sleeve, inside a 10" polybag. We have sold and shipped rare 78s in the past, so be assured your 78 will arrive undamaged! Don't miss your chance to pick up this rare Blues gem!
