It’s only fitting that a group so enamored of B-movie horror films would rise from the dead to conquer yet again. In their original incarnation, the punk band earned a fanatical following off only a few albums before breaking up in 1983. A decade later, founding member Jerry Only resurrected the group for a 17-song sonic assault channeling their best work. “The musical formula hasn't changed,” wrote Rolling Stone at the time. “Some old-style punk, a little metal and an occasional all-out thrasher.”


With horror movie titles like “The Haunting,” “Shining,” and “Day of the Dead,” Misfits know what the people want and will slam a wooden stake through the heart of any detractors.
