Description
This is a Philles Records stereo album #PHLP-4006 (on cover ST-90721 on labels) titled Presenting The Fabulous Ronettes Featuring Veronica. Songs on the album are "Walking In The Rain", "Do I Love You ?", "So Young", "Breakin' Up", "I Wonder", "What'd I Say", "Be My Baby", "You Baby", "Baby, I Love You", "How Does It Feel ?", "When I Saw You" and "Chapel Of Love". The record has a few light scuffs and that is it. The cover has some wear and small "dings" in the corners and a small crease in the upper left corner. There are no "BB" holes or "cuts". The cover has the number as PHLP and the label has ST-90721. It is the Capitol Record Club version. According to discogs "This is the red and yellow Philles label, with the group's name misspelled as 'Ronnettes' on both labels. It can be distinguished from a similar 1965 stereo pressing through the labels as well as a small '4' printed on the lower right corner of the back of the jacket. The label layout is much more similar to the 1964 mono pressings than it is to the 1965 stereo pressing. It should be noted these stereo Capitol Record Club pressings do indeed play in true stereo. There was a series of older Jerry Osborne record price guides that stated these were rechanneled stereo... they are not. However, the stereo mix is very rudimentary, with the "wrecking crew" session musicians on one channel, and vocals with strings on the other channel. I am uncertain about the contents of the non-record club stereo issue, as I don't own one and the price guides apparently didn't even know this issue existed at the time".
