THE PRESTIGE BLUES SWINGERS - Outskirts of Town
Very rare 1958 UK 6-track mono LP on Esquire by a Jazz 'supergroup' including Art Farmer, Idrees Sulieman, Buster Cooper, Jerome Richardson, Jimmy Forrest, Pepper Adams, Ray Bryant, Tiny Grimes, Wendell Marshall & Osie Johnson, with arrangements by Jerry Valentine, great front laminated flipback sleeve with colour variant, notes by Ira Gitler & mini biographies on the back.
Original UK 1st Press deep groove & heavy weight vinyl LP record on the early tan/plum red ESQUIRE record label from 1958.
This is a rare and hard to find album.

Vinyl :
This deep groove heavy weight vinyl is in EX condition with only very minor surface scuffs & very light surface marks to vinyl both sides. Two clean labels and tidy undamaged center label spindle holes. The vinyl remains in superb condition retaining a glorious luster after 60+ years on!.
Sleeve :
This sleeve is in EX condition. The printing is exceptionally bold, and images are sharp. The whole cover feels very solid. This is the early gloss front laminated front & flip back seam issue sleeve. Some very light edge creasing, sharp corners & edges. Comes complete with original PVC bag inner sleeve in excellent condition.
