Description
For auction is the PRESTIGE BLUES-SWINGERS' "Outskirts Of Town," on Prestige PRLP 7145, Mono, DG, RVG, 1958. With Pepper Adams, Art Farmer, Ray Bryant, Tiny Grimes, others.
SOUND: VG+/NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Outstanding, crisp, clean, powerful sound! The only reason it's not solid NM is the appearance of very minor surface noise in a couple spots. Very minor and very brief! I'm being very conservative!
VINYL: VG+
There are a few hairline marks or scuffs. They all appear superficial, and the playback bears that out. The dead wax has the "RVG" stamp. Labels are deep-grooved "fireworks" variety, with the Bergenfield address. The labels are in very nice shape, with a little wear around the hole.
JACKET: VG+/NM
The jacket is outstanding. The edges and spine are solid and straight, with minimal wear. The corners look very good, with only minor routine wear. The front cover is very clean and unmarked, in outstanding condition. The back cover has a small "promo" stamp in the top right. Otherwise, it is very clean and unmarked, in great condition.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
