...and, as is typical of virtually all Fruits De Mer releases, it's already out-of-print...IN FACT, YET AGAIN, THEY SOLD OUT ON ADVANCE ORDERS ALONE! Makes it tuff, I know, but at least here's one.
But what makes this one even extra special, is that it contains THREE beautiful full colour, band-photo, card inserts...these only came with a VERY few copies....less than 100! (and that's out of the whole 1200 pressing run). (Please note that the record on offer here has NOT been taken out of its sleeve - the photo's here are of my own copy.)A stunning new live version of their classic R&B track 'Honey, I Need' (taken from their 2010 gig at London's "The 100 Club", where they played the whole of their first album for the first time ever - soon to be released by the band on vinyl) with a previously-unreleased demo of 'I Can Never Say', found on a 1965 acetate - a real archive find!
Quite possibly the UK's finest ever R&B/psych band with a new release that shows they're still brilliant live 40-odd years on...
