Description
This is the original UK LP by the PRETTY THINGS, S.F SORROW, 1968 1st Press MONO on the Black and Blue COLUMBIA label SX 6306, with "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credits on the label's and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- XAX 3738-1, SIDE 2:- XAX 3739-1, stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 2, SIDE 2:- 2.
The original 1968 UK 1st issue E.J DAY gatefold cover is in VG++ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and only one small 1.5cm seam split on the front bottom right hand corner, their is some wear to the edges and corners, and a few area's of light lamination creasing, their is a small scuff on the inside top right, the spine is fully intact and readable.
The vinyl is in VG+++/EX condition, maintaining all it's original shine and lustre, I have played both sides, the vinyl plays a STUNNING MINT-!, playing with crisp clear clarity from start to finish, the quality of this 1968 MONO 1st pressing is AWESOME, A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE!.
The label's are in EX conditiom, lovely and clean, showing minimal wear, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal hole shows minimal wear.
The vinyl is housed in a 1968 EMI inner sleeve and in EX condition, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
Altogether a very respectable copy of this RARE original 1968 UK MONO 1st Press LP by the PRETTY THINGS, S.F SORROW, a very different sound to their early R 'n' B Beat LP's, this is a GREAT PSYCH LP.
