FORMAT.........… VINYL LP. A RARE 1ST PRESSING ON HARVEST FROM 1970.
CAT N0....SHVL774
I HAVE COLLECTED THOUSANDS OF RECORDS OVERS THE YEARS AND NOW THE TIME HAS COME TO CLEAR OUT AND SELL TO A GOOD HOME.
OVER THE NEXT MONTHS I AM SELLING MY VAST RECORD COLLECTION. PLEASE VIEW OTHERS- I DO HELP ON POST.
A very rare one from my collection. It was one that did attend parties so do not expect it to be perfect- it is not. However,the vast majority still plays well.
Matrix A-2 and B-2
(Please note there is some camera flash on the photo's !)
The key features of this lp are sumarised below:
Sleeve- Gatefold. Laminated front and rear. Some corner and edge wear. Some wear to the spine.General minor age wear and minor creases. There was a selotape repair to the rear top right. Still respectable for its age.
Held in outer plastic sleeve.
Inner- Comes with a plain white inner.
Labels- NO EMI box. Nice and clean. Shows minor spindle marks.
Vinyl- Still retains a full gloss and sheen to all sides. Clean,bright and shiny.
On bright light examination there are marks and odd surface scratches.
PLAYBACK- I have played twice today and found it still enjoyable. The vast majority plays with a great sound.
Side One- On track one there is a tick which may / may not be a jump- it is hard to tell. Other odd minor ticks in places.
Side two has odd ticks. The last track has more noticeable ticks mainly in the quieter parts.
As I said earlier, far from perfect but an honest first pressing which is still great fun to play and enjoy.
The low start price indicates its faults.Not to be missed.
