PRETTY THINGS Parachute LP + Inner - UK Harvest (NO EMI) SHVL 774 A2/B2 EX/EX

Hard to find original 1st pressing UK album, in laminated gatefold sleeve with company inner. The Side 2 matrix was partly crossed and restamped due to an error with the text "774", which was properly corrected on later pressing, but that tells you it's age and how early on a pressing it is.

Sleeve = EX- some light minor wear, such as scuff to the edges  and corners in places, but overall still pretty nice, well looked after

Vinyl = EX. Generally appears clean, close to mint, with no signs of significant play and very little spindle marking to the label. It has a small mark on track 3 side 2, that is very light, cannot be felt.

How we grade the condition of our records:

We use the Record Collector magazine grading system to evaulate all the vinyl we list. Most evaluation has to be done visually, as there isn't time to listen to everything, though sometimes it is necessary to make sure and this will be mentioned when done.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

**NEAR MINT (NM) is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.

As an example, a double heavyweight vinyl LP in gatefold sleeve with poster would be heavier than a standard weight vinyl LP in standard card picture sleeve, so we may need to charge more P&P for it.

No-one likes paying for postage. We will combine shipping where multiple items are won, to keep the shipping costs low.

Individual records are sent in professional mailers with 2 card backing inserts, which we believe provides ample protection. If extra packaging and protection is required, this may incur an increase in P&P charges.
