Description
The Pretty Things - S.F. Sorrow - EMI/Columbia # 1C 062-04 004 (1968) Made in Germany. Laminated Gatefold cover, poly lined inner sleeve.
Personally, I love the Pretties. Always have and still do. This is their swan song and I could go on for hours about it but I won't. It's a masterpiece. If you are familiar with it you know what I mean. If you are not, then you owe yourself a bit of Psycholectric culture.
There are a couple of minor chips in the cover laminate but if you aren't looking for them you won't notice. This is a beauty inside and out. Vinyl is as near to perfect as you are likely to find. A gem!
If you need more information or pictures or just want to talk about it or anything in general, you can e-mail me at rrackley@peoplepc.com
Packaging - Your records will be packed with loving care. They will be removed from the jacket (whenever possible) and left in the inner sleeve. The whole thing will be carefully wrapped in paper and put in a 3 mil plastic outer sleeve. They will then be put in a hand made container. People who have bought from me rave about the packaging. Please check my feedback or check with others who have bought from me.
I hand make all my packaging, using heavy board. There will be more than an inch of cardboard all the way around it to protect all corners with board on top and bottom. In other words, your record sits down in a dish so there is no direct pressure on the record face. It's not just stuck between two pieces of cardboard! This is time consuming and expensive for me but I know how important your records are to you. I want you to get them in as good a condition as I send them in. The "box" ends up being 15" square. This makes them much heavier and with new postal regulations, this is oversize and they charge me a surcharge for it. Shipping and Handling in the U.S.- I will combine shipping when you buy multiple items. I will ship via U.S.P.S. media mail unless you request otherwise. All purchases will include Delivery Confirmation. PLEASE NOTE !! After I mail your package, you will be e-mailed a tracking number. If you are interested in finding out where it is or when it is scheduled to arrive, etc., you can go to USPS.Com, go into "track and confirm" and type in the number. This will give you all available information. If you prefer Priority Mail, insurance or other special services, I will be happy to do that for the appropriate costs. Priority Mail with delivery confirmation $8.00. This option by request only! I will send you rates on insured, etc on request. International Shipping and Handling - Due to new Postal regulations, there is no more Air Letter or Air Parcel post. It is now all first class (7-10 days). It will be $13 or more depending on your particular country. Please do not send money until I send you an invoice! I require a Proof of Mailing certificate and this will be included in the shipping cost. If you want insurance, it must go by Global Priority. PLEASE NOTE !! After I mail your package, you will be E-mailed a customs number. This number is not trackable in the U.S. Postal system. It is for customs in your country. If you want it to be trackable, it has to be insured or registered. This requires Global Priority and considerably more money. I have shipped hundreds of records overseas . I have never had any problems with regular mail until recently and only to the U.K. Due to the Postal strikes and customs backups resulting from them, there have been a couple instances(2) of delay, as long as a month or more. I have no control over this! If there is a problem, Call your customs service and give them that number. They will find it for you. If it is Insured, etc. It can be tracked through USPS.Com I will do whatever I can to help if there is a problem but I can do nothing after it leaves the U.S. Postal System and nothing if it is not insured except prove that it was mailed. Again, it is very rare that a problem arises but it can happen. Payment - is to be made by Check, Money Order or Paypal. I will take personal checks but won't ship until the check clears. Paypal Payments are due within 3 days of auction close. I understand if you mail a payment that it may take a bit more. Mailed payments are due within 7 days of auction close. If you wish to mail a check please E-mail and let me know. Sale final!price rating
