Description
From my personal collection - Please read carefully - I originally auctioned this LP last year and in the middle of the auctioned I managed to scratch the record while cleaning. I had to withdraw the LP from the auction as it was now in a different condition. Several buyers mailed me and when told of the condition all asked me to re-auction it as it is. So here goes.
Artist - Pretty Things
Title - S.F. Sorrow
Label - Columbia SX 6306 MONO Blue/Black label.
Year - 1968 UK 1st Matrix endings 1/1.
Condition - VG, The record has two large fingernail scratches on side 1 from the start of track 2 to the middle of track 4. They look a lot worse than they sounds (see photo 4 ). They do cause a slight click from the end of track 2 to the start of track 4. It is noticeable but not very loud. Without this, there are only lite hairlines seen under strong light which do not affect the sound. Otherwise the remainder of the record would be close to EX. No jumps or skips etc Very few spindle marks on labels.
Sleeve - VG, laminated outside but not on inside. Outside has only very little sign of general shelf wear and slight signs of laminate lift on the spine and a couple of minor dents/creases on extreme corners. No tears or writing etc. White inside sleeve in clean condition. Original EMI picture inner included. Spine reads fine.
This is the extremely rare 1st UK MONO print of the Pretty Things classic rock opera with matrix endings 1/1.
