PRETTY THINGS, SF SORROW. UK 1ST PRESS Columbia Blue/Black. SCX6306 Stereo LP. 1968.
PRETTY THINGS, SF SORROW, 1968 SCX 6306, Stereo UK 1st pressing 1/1, on Columbia Blue and Black label. Super rare, fantastic album and one of my personal favourites. Matrix Codes: YAX3738-1 YAX3739-1.
Condition.
Sleeve.
The original wrap around Ernest J.Day & CO ltd sleeve has File under: POPULAR: Pop Groups in the top rear right hand corner.
The Sleeve does show signs of wear with laminate creasing on front right hand corner, rubbing on the corners and small amount of laminate lifting on the front and back. There is split on the rear gatefold upper section; which has tape applied. The inner sleeve colour and text is clear, bright and legible.
Sleeve Grade: VERY GOOD.
Inner Sleeve.
The record comes with the UK original EMI 1968 inner sleeve. The images printed retaining their vibrancy and colour. There has been taped placed on the right folded side of the inner sleeve.
Inner Sleeve Grade: VERY GOOD.
Labels.
The labels show signs of spindle wear, but have no additional marks. The text remains clear and legible.
Labels Grade: EXCELLENT.
Vinyl.
Matrix Codes: YAX3738-1 YAX3739-1.
The vinyl when viewed under intense artificial light reveals few fine minor hairline marks and the surface retains its original sheen. The record has not been clean and there are small fingerprint marks present. There are no deep scratches or warping and the audible reproduction is clear with minimal interference.
Record Grade: Side 1: EXCELLENT. Side 2: EXCELLENT.
