Description

I [the son] am creating the listing this record for my father and he shall provide full description soon.
Thanks for looking, check back as I shall be adding audio of this very record so you know exactly what you are buying
-1 -1 matrix no's.  Also zero's on both sides of record in runout to the right side of labels pictured.

Most of my records were only played 1-3 times and were mainly bought as collectables to add to my collection at that time.

As promised actual audio sample of the record you are bidding on. The quality of the recording is fantastic; compression does not do it justice. The sample is completely un-molested no noise filtering or reduction... you know what you are buying.

I would like to list this item as mint however as you can appreciate any vinyl of this age will inevitably pick up some fine wispy marks. This and the fact the cover also has a minor crease down the spine [the pictures show].

Any grading is down to interpretation, I personally do not think you will find a better copy considering the time elapsed since initial pressing
With the early matrix numbers and the lack of any blemishes or scratches we believe this is one of the best recordings you will buy.

COLUMBIA SCX6306         VAX 3738 -1 & 3739 -1

YEAR 1968 MADE IN GT BRITAIN

The record plays well and a sample sound tracks are here. There are no bad scratches only a slight scuff mark as shown in the last picture and this has no effect on the audio played.

No bad clicks on any tracks.

A few wispy lines where it has been drawn from the inner cover, nothing untoward.

Still has its original inner sleeve as far as I am aware.

Vinly condition is good for its age and still is glossy.

Cover is also in good condition for its age there is one slight corner crease top left front cover.

The cover is not torn.

Spine has no signs of wear and the writing is still clear, one minor piece of wear under bottom left corner and top right edge.

Purchased new many years ago by me to add to my collection of must have’s SO I KNOW THE HISTORY OF IT and I probably played the record about 3 to 4 times on a Goldring Lenco heavy weight platter with conical motor drive.

I cared for my collection as I only wanted to buy them once?

I eventually acquired a reel to reel tape deck recorder!

Hence not played the record a lot!

The record has been stored for many years with my collection since the 70s and now that I have moved home I have decided to sell this one along with many others but as I need space and also do not wish to have the responsibility and task of safely storing them any more.
