A superb stereo mix of this brilliant 1968 uk psych concept album. This 1968 'Pretty Things' album is one of the best and most consistent uk psych LP's of the late 1960's. 'S.F. Sorrow' is pretty much essential and should definitely be in every serious Prog/Psych-Rock collection. This rare German pressing is not as desirable as the uk blue/black columbia original which now sells for hundreds of pounds, but it is a really excellent cheaper alternative. The vinyl is in superb NM condition. This album actually still looks MINT and plays and sounds amazing throughout. The front back laminated gatefold sleeve has some lamination blistering problems near the spine on the back and some slight yellowing on the front, there is also some light age spotting on the inside gatefold but the amazing condition of the vinyl more than makes up for minor problems with the cover.
VINYL= NEAR MINT
Both sides of the thick stereo vinyl are extremely clean and very glossy and free of any surface marks, both sides actually still look in brilliant as new condition with that excellent just pressed look. The playback sound quality is really superb throughout, there are no loud clicks or pops and both sides play and sound amazing with barely any background hiss-static/crackle at all, this brilliant psych album has been barely played at all and it would be vey difficult to find a better looking/playing/sounding copy than this one on offer here. The vinyl really looks near flawless and will definitely will not disappoint in any way.
LABELS = NEAR MINT
Both blue stereo Columbia labels are near perfect, there are just one or two light spindle traces on each side due to careful play.
SLEEVE = VG
The front and back laminated sleeve is in very good condition. The front has some slight age yellowing, on the back near the spine there is some lamination bubbling/blistering and lifting and also a few tiny bubbles and lines along the back/top and bottom edges, the blistering has caused a few small holes in the lamination, the pictures actually make this look much worse than it actually is when viewed in normal light. The matt white inside gatefold section is still in pretty clean condition but with some minor age/spotting and discolouration. Even with the lamination faults this cover is still very good
A brilliant 1968 UK psych album in brilliant NM playing condition. A really superb much cheaper alternative to that of the super-rare uk original.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
