On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Pretty Things called "S.F.Sorrow" and is a 1969 UK Pressing on the ORIGINAL UK Columbia label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS EASILY THE PRETTY THINGS RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT HIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSING!!!! AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE THAN A HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR 'IN-HOUSE' USE BY EMI / COLUMBIA THEMSELVES (FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!! THEY WERE NEARLY ALWAYS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - AND ARE OF THE UTMOST RARITY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION!!!! AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! THE RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL (ONLY ONCE!) AND IS IN STUNNING CONDITION, THE INNER SLEEVE IS SIMPLY SUPERB, AND THE GATEFOLD COVER IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! HAVING SPOKEN TO A BAND MEMBER MYSELF - I ALSO KNOW THE MAIN INPUT WAS PUT INTO THE STEREO MIX OF THIS LP (WHICH IS WHY IT SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE MONO VERSION!) WHEREAS THE MONO WAS SIMPLY CONTRACTED OUT FOR PRESSING (WHICH IS WHY MONOs HAVE 'TEXTURED' LABELS!) WHEREAS ONLY STEREOs WERE EVER PRESSED BY EMI/COLUMBIA THEMSELVES DIRECTLY FROM THE MASTERS!!!! THE STEREO 1ST PRESS MIX ON THIS LP IS SIMPLY AMAZING AND BLOWS YOU AWAY COMPARED TO THE MONO VERSION (ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SLIP ON SOME HIGH QUALITY HEADPHONES AND FLICK ON 'SURROUND SOUND' (OR SIMILAR!))!!!! AND ALTHOUGH THIS IS A LATE 1969 RE-PRESSING, IT IS STILL INCREDIBLY RARE INDEED, STILL HAS THE 1ST PRESS MIX (WITH 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!) - AND IS CERTAINLY SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS AMAZING 'ONCE PLAYED' AWESOME CONDITION!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK Pressing from 1969 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SCX 6306 on the ORIGINAL Columbia label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK Stereo Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in AMAZING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light TINY scufflines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some absolutely ULTRA faint touches of MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 'E.J.Day' Gatefold Laminated Stereo Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (still FULLY Laminated!), barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), STUNNING shiny 'mirror-like' laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! AWESOME COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
