This is an ORIGINAL 1965 1st and ONLY SOUTH AFRICA pressing of the PRETTY THINGS' classic first Lp called THE PRETTY THINGS and released originally as here on the FONTANA label but in this case as ' TL 602' instead of TL5239 as for UK pressings.
Visually graded under a 100W light source the vinyl retains EXCELLENT MINUS glossy sheen - with only a few visible marks, predominantly hairlines and with just a few other more noticeable marks or blemish.
And overall this is confirmed on playing as there is only some minor surface noise audible in places and quiet parts and between tracks etc.
Both sides have been PLAY GRADED.
Side 1 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS
Side 2 is graded - EXCELLENT MINUS
The BLACK and SILVER FONTANA labels are graded VERY GOOD PLUS - with some minor visible spindle wear and a surface tear to Side 2.
The thin card FLIPBACK PICTURE sleeve is graded VERY GOOD PLUS with overall little wear but some minor ring wear to the front and discolouration to the white back and also some biro writing covered by a label to the back top right. But no splits and the spine remains 100% etc.
The classic first Lp from the PRETTY THINGS and this a RARE 1ST PRESS pressing from South Africa and here in overall rare EXCELLENT MINUS condition.
