Description
Up for your consideration is an original pressing of the Frizzle Fry LP by Primus released in 1990 on the Caroline Records Label.
As you can see this was autographed by Les Claypool. Which makes it even more special and all the more rare are the musical notes drawn with the sharpie and lyrics
that read "Corn, Corn Chicken and Corn The Colonel's Chicken and Cobs of Corn"
I interviewed Primus around the time this album was coming out and it was signed during this early period. After having this for awhile, I thought it was time to give it a new home.
Incredibly frame worthy and ready to be a conversation piece for you.
The vinyl is what I guess would be called VG++ condition. On side A there looks to be some surface marks, and a light surface scuff or two, but it shouldn't affect play.
There is an inner picture sleeve for the LP which is splitting on the sides, as does sometimes happen, but otherwise it's just fine.
The cover itself is in excellent condition, I suppose it would be graded NM and it has been well stored separately from the actual album, and maybe handled twice since he signed it all those years ago. There is a minor bend on one corner as you can see in the picture, a few signs of stress along the seams but otherwise it's pretty close to perfect. Let's face it, the reason this particular LP is so interesting is the autograph and the lyrics drawn on the cover. It's a great unusual piece, and is indeed wall hanging worthy. A musical document from the early days of Primus.
