Description
Currently rated as the rarest and most valuable ska & rock steady album of the 1960s, this is Prince Buster's masterpiece "Fly Flying Ska" (BBLP 803, 1963). It has sold on ebay over the past couple years for $536, $660, $696, $760, and even $974 in the same, similar, and even worse condition as the one you're looking at right now. The LP itself is in NM condition. It plays all the way through without any skips, and very little surface noise. The only thing keeping it from being mint is a couple of cosmetic scuffs on side one of the vinyl (doesn't affect play). The sleeve itself is VG/VG+. The glossy front cover still has its original vivid color, with just some normal wear around the edges due to its 47 year-old age. The back cover is a plain matte paper stock, so it has some discoloration, but is generally still quite nice. There is a purple stamp on the back cover that reads "Prince Buster's Record Shack, 36 Charles St., Phone 26272" (PB's original record shop in Kingston) that speaks to the authenticity of this item. There is also writing in pen or pencil that reads "Iverson #413" just above and to the right of the title on the back. Track listing:
