The B side is different from the FAB release (Gimme Some Sign Girl), it's actually an instrumental cut of "Let's Go To The Dance" with horns (it starts where the sung track fades out) that were only issued as a blank (with The Three Tops on flip). Here's what i found about it
"Unbelievably rare instrumental cut to Prince Buster’s ‘Let’s Go To The Dance’ (matrix number WIRL PB 3140-1) that remains unreleased and to the best of my knowledge unavailable outside of this original Jamaican 45. Not even Rock-A-Shacka in Osaka has compiled it yet! The track fades in; most likely the tape just kept rolling when they cut ‘Let’s Go To The Dance’, so in a sense, this is a Part 2. "

Hi,
I'va had lots of questions about this item, so i'll try to give some details here.
This records is a repress / reissue from the late 90's as far as i know.
It has no matrix numbers engraved in the dead wax, but the name of each track. It reads :SIDE A LET'S GO TO THE DANCE and SIDE B VERSION (LET'S GO TO THE DANCE)
The record looks Ex or better BUT it was badly pressed (it actually has the same kind of flaws you can find on some modern JA pressings, wich leads me to think it's actually a JA press...) and therefore is noisy (hear samples), but plays through fine.
The B side as detailed earlier is the second part of the session that gave the beautiful "Let Go To The Dance" : after the sung part was over, the guys kept on on playing, jamming and taking solos while the tape was still rolling.
Apart from the beauty of the music (i tend to think the instrumental cut is superior to the vocals), this track is a rare occasion (tape was expensive, as was studio time, so we can imagine producers avoiding "unnecessary" recording) to witness how a session could go on when the feeling was there, and by the way how good were this musicians able to lay a killer track "for days and extra days"...
