Description
This is my EX / EX copy of this RARE UK BLUEBEAT RECORDS album by PRINCE BUSTER. Both the sleeve and the record are in great condition, The sleeve's laminated front is near perfect with out bad laminate creases and the white card rear is clean and tidy with little signs of handling. The record looks like a nearly 'new' record with no visible bad marks and it plays great. This isw also a punchy pressing so it sounds great played loud! However, the record suffers with a gentle edge warp. I say 'gentle' because if you get a 'bump' in the edge, you gonna get a jump! This one as I say is gentle and it looks like a 'wave' as the record goes round, but the gentleness means the record plays perfectly with no change in pitch or 'woosh'. I play my records on an old mono record player and a pair of TECHNICS SL200 contemporary decks and this record plays perfectly on both types with no added weight (or coins!). BRILLIANT 'Live' album from Prince Buster, (but was it really recorded live in the studio?), with my favourite tracks being 'Seven Times To Rise' and 'Sounds And Pressure' which works so well with the girl backing singers! GREAT STUFF! I always offer to take records back and a full refund and in this case definately, but please do not bid if the warp is a defect to far for your personal taste in record collecting!
